Description of dutiesSenior Heavy Equipment Maintenance Manager
The Senior Heavy Equipment Maintenance Manager will manage and direct the maintenance programs for J. Ray McDermott fabrication facilities. This includes but is not limited to loaders, cranes, crawlers, lifts and other various heavy equipment machinery located at our fabrication yards for marine installation and support vessels.
· Ensure primary consideration is given to HSE issues in all activities undertaken within areas of responsibility
· Coordinate with Operations Area on efforts related to repair and maintenance and equipment modifications
· Assist in the preparation of estimates for purchases and modifications for all equipment and machinery

Qualifications RequiredJob Qualifications:

· Experienced marine heavy equipment manager with a minimum of 10 years of experience
· Demonstrated management of heavy equipment programs and knowledge of the equipment that must be maintained
· Consciences awareness of corrective actions taken for any and all HSE issues that may arise
· Thorough knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic equipment of offshore marine installation and support vessels
· Experience with maintenance & inspection of lifting devices (Hoists, engines, transmissions)
· Experience with conducting audits of equipment / machinery maintenance
· Bachelor's degree - preferably in Mechanical Engineering
