| Description of duties | We have two immediate openings for a Warehouser at our Northwest Metals(Steel)Distribution Center. This is a temp to hire 2nd shift position (M-F from 2 to 10:30pm) with and anticipated start date of Monday 3/11/09. This position requires 10-15 hours ot weekly and pays double time on Sundays.
Job Duties: High school diploma or GED Certification along with a valid Texas Driver License and 1-2 years experience in a similar role preferable with a metals background. Receive, tag, and store incoming stock and packing supplies by using an warehouse overhead crane, forklift, and side loaders, shears, and saws. To safely pull, inspect, pack, and ship customer orders as scheduled. Establish and maintain safe and healthy work environment and work habits. Process all materials and orders to specification as well as meet all goals established by the company. Communicate with internal and external contacts respectfully and professionally.
